I will probably buy the album, I loved "Nine Lives" as soon as I heard a few tracks I was hooked, don't go much for the ballads I am afraid :)

I think their most underrated and underappreciated album of the past 20 years is Honkin' On Bobo. What a fun album doing things different than any other album they've done. Two thumbs way up for that one.

They've got no choice other than to make a great LP, given the calibre of recent releases by the likes of Journey, Whitesnake and Van Halen. I still have more faith in Perry than Tyler, if the latter gets his way it'll no doubt feature a duet with Daughtry, Justin Bieber on backing vocals and seven ballads.
