In the mid 70's I discovered the hard rock/metal sounds of Kiss,Aerosmith,AC/DC,Ted Nugent,Judas Priest,Blue Oyster Cult...etc.By the late 70's/early 80's a new genre of music started getting radio airplay...Power Pop.(Actually earlier bands such as Badfinger,the Monkees,the Who,Paul Revere & the Raiders...etc had hits that are considered Power Pop but this list concentrates on the aforementioned era)
