I'm not the rapper. I'm a hard core classic rock lover. Toss in some good blues and a touch of jazz and I'm a happy guy. My music collection is in the thousands and grows larger every day.

I bought my first album--Jimi Hendrix's Greatest Hits--at the age of ten. Dion Warwick was my first concert. The most memorable were The Who and The Rolling Stones, but I've seen Zappa, the Allman Brothers, Ginger Baker and many others.

I collect mostly live stuff and have amassed a good many bootlegs. My largest sound system includes Technics speakers bought in a pawn shop. They have nice 15" woofers that are easily driven by a Kenwood receiver. I use a generic DVD player for discs, and a Sony dual cassette deck. I also can run the ipod through the aux line. I have some Cirwin Vegas that need to be reconed.

I listen to music at least ten hours per day.

That's all for now. I'll save the rest for when I respond to posts.

Hi Shadow,

I dont have near the equipment you have, you have an impressive list of goodies.

I dont collect bootlegs, but I have my fair share of live recordings, some of which are bootlegs :)

I am a classic Southern Rocker, but my tastes are eclectic. I do enjoy the newer music, mostly the 90's alternative rock. I do love the new neo-progressive metal, though. Just something about symphonic instrumental music that puts a super chill on me.
