Yeah the poor man has ankylosing spondylitis....that dude should have never been onstage.

It probably wouldn't take much to knock him over and he's lucky he didn't break anything.

You can relax, Motley Crue fans: Mick Mars is doing fine after being knocked down by an overzealous fan during the band’s May 4 show in Saskatchewan.

Mars shared the news with fans directly, taking to Twitter to say, “Thank all of you for your concerns about me being knocked down last night I’m alright nothing broken. My body guard Rhyno got 2 busted ribs.”

As many are already aware, Mars’ fall was a little extra scary because he suffers from a painful degenerative condition called ankylosing spondylitis (AS), which gradually reduces mobility by fusing the sufferer’s bones together — and lends an added element of risk to things like, say, being tackled while you’re trying to do your job.

Mars’ attacker also made a lunge for singer Vince Neil, who has to be getting pretty tired of seeing this kind of thing from the stage; in fact, last December, he actually took a swing at an unruly audience member during one of his solo shows, and ended up narrowly avoiding a further altercation when the fan — who had been ejected — came back with some friends and tried sneaking backstage to start a brawl.

All in all, the members of the band have to be feeling pretty good about their retirement announcement right now — with the exception of poor busted Rhyno, who we assume is getting plenty of pain meds and rest. Here’s hoping everyone else manages to stay in their seats during the rest of the Crue’s tour dates.

Vince Neil Says Film Version of ‘The Dirt’ Will Be the Beginning of the End for Motley Crue

Throughout the last few months, Motley Crue have been talking about their retirement plans as much as they’ve been rocking. And while Vince Neil has stated that they plan to run through 2015, a new interview with the singer suggests that the release of the film version of their book, ‘The Dirt,’ will be the catalyst for their victory lap.

“Yeah, that’s what it’s looking like, yeah,” Neil told the Calgary Herald (via Blabbermouth). “The movie will come out, we’ll have an album to come out with the movie, and then do another world tour and then probably just call it quits. And just kind of move on.

As exciting as it may be to have one’s life of sex, drugs and rock n’ roll depicted on the silver screen, Neil didn’t disguise his ambivalence towards the project, which has been talked about since 2006, adding, “I just don’t know anything about it. If it comes out, great, if it doesn’t come out. I really don’t care.”

Still, retirement for Neil doesn’t mean he’s ready to move down to Florida, take up golf and figure out which restaurant has the best Early Bird Special. He just has yet to find a way to keep up his lifestyle outside of the glare of the spotlight.

“Of course I’ll miss playing with Motley, but I’m not gonna just stop being a rock ’n’ roll guy,” he continued. “This is what I do and I love being onstage. I tried to stop — a long time ago I took a year off and it drove me crazy. I really missed being onstage and stuff like that, so I’ll definitely continue on.”

Vehicle: I agree, Ten Seconds has been my favorite song on that album, probably dating back to the first time I heard it. Love the entire album, but that track is my fave.

Don't let the door hit Vince's fat whiny ass on the way out. The Crue died after SATD.

For me it was probably after Dr Feelgood as I liked the albums they did after Shout.
The only good album for me post Dr Feelgood was New Tattoo. Everything else was either mediocre or just really shit albums.
