LG.. Another quick plug for Nikki.. This is a song off the Sixx AM CD.. Kinda a taste of how different it is from Motley's stuff..
Audio is slacking so just keep in mind the song rocks!!

Re: The Official MOTLEY CRUE Thread

and like Sooty I also like "Home Sweet Home" but I actually think the '91 version that was on "Decade of Decadence" is actually much better than the original...
Wrong, wrong, wrong...

And i'm the opposite. Whenever I hear the remade version of HSH, I say out loud "GAH!"
Right, right, right...

Re: The Official MOTLEY CRUE Thread

Motley Crue certainly lived up to their namesake! So much great music from so many great albums. The radio hits are obvious but I always liked their album cuts such as "Danger", "Louder Than Hell", "You're All I Need" and "Rattlesnake Shake". And I love, love, LOVE "Teaser" and "Primal Scream" from Decade Of Decadance!

And while Tommy might not be most technical drummer who ever hit things with sticks, his drumming on "Dr. Feelgood" provided me with all the inspiration I would need to finally buy a drum kit and play the home version of Rock Star. :heheh:

I was really pleased with that entire album. I dunno if that it's just the freshest but as it stands now it's my favorite Crue album.

You are right, Tommy isn't the greatest drummer ever to step behind a set of skins, but I'll tell you what, he just might be one of the most entertaining drummers to do so. I saw the Crue on tour on their 4 biggest albums (Shout, Theater, Girls and Feelgood) and every time, Tommy's drum solo got better and better and he was more entertaining on each one and had a cooler gimmick with his drum solo each time.

Here is one of my favorites even though it's not with Vince.
