The second album, "Unleashed" is ok, however it is not a patch on the first one. I have just purchased a re-remaster of the first album as it has a track I don't have, I am going to see them again in London with the Tygers Of Pan Tang. Got my recent copy off of e-bay too, I think it keeps getting remastered. The guitarist told me last year that they would keep re-releasing it everytime I got a new version and keep adding extra tracks for a laugh, great bunch of guys and very tight as a band.

I would LOVE to see Leaf Hound and Tygers of Pan Tang, too.
TOPT's early stuff is bad ass NWOBHM. I am a huge fan of the aggressive well crafted / played bands of that scene !


EDIT : And yeah the second one is OK but being a long time fan of the first release I was hoping for something a bit different then what it turned out to be . I think most long time fans understand what I mean even if they disagree .

Just got my re-mastered copy through the post, excellent booklet and sound all the way through and great extra tracks too...I am son in love with music it's untrue

Well I was there at Camden Underworld for the gig with Tygers and Leafhound and what a classic, they were superb, met the base player and the guitarist after the show and had a great chat. My mate Tez was well happy with the gig and is looking to get their albums soon.

I cannot believe that Pete French has still got a great voice, he is so cool....

Finally got a copy of Growers of Mushroom and listened to it today. I need some black light posters, some incense sticks, tie dyed shirts and maybe something to inhale to complete the trip back in time I got listening to this album.

I can see why people bring up comparisons to Zeppelin, but Leaf Hound have their own sound.

This band are still playing live shows, mainly in London, I really dig this band and when I watch interviews with Peter French he just gets better and better, what a class act
