Sad to not see very many Madonna fans here. She's like my female Zeppelin.

Mom says I used to rock back and forth in my crib to the True Blue album when I was a baby.

I was rocked back and forth by my Mum to Blondie's songs and I still love to listen to her I also listen to a Marina & The Diamonds and Lily Allen so they are my pop music girl crushes

LOL. So have you heard? Her latest single, Last Friday Night, hit #1 on the pop songs chart, making Teenage Dream the only album ever to have 5 #1s on the pop chart. That chart is only 19 years old though. It's at #2 on the overall chart and IF it can hit #1 it'll tie Katy with Michael Jackson as the only artists to have five #1 singles off of one album.

I don't think it's all THAT great of a song but I do desperately hope it hits #1, I think Katy and Teenage Dream deserve it.

Regardless of what people say I do like tunes from Katy Perry and also alike Lady Gaga! If I need my pop fix I listen to these girls! Katy Perry has so many hits now, I still remember her first single "I kissed a girl" At the time I was thinking, what the hell is this singer singing! But then I heard her next hit which just got stuck in my head! I think it was "Hot n' Cold" I can't quiet remember.

But since that hit I started getting back in to the first hit song and very much liked her from there! She is a hot girl! and I dig her style and creativity she comes up with! Though marrying Russell Brand Russell Brand seems to hard to tame! For some reason I just don't see it lasting, but who knows I might be wrong!

The Benny Benassi remix of E.T. I love stuff you can dance to so I like this.

Oh hulls ya, I'm always up for a good remix! I actually like Lady Gaga's remixes more than her studio material. Ke$ha too, sometimes.

Love the E.T. remixes, especially that 9 minute one by um... Johnson Somerset & John Monkman.

My favorite Katy Perry remix so far is probably this trippy one of California Gurls... It's by Passion Pit who also does a lot of my other favorite remixes, and I hear they're quite popular in their own rite as well...



I'm anxiously awaiting the Last Friday Night remix EP though. Should be coming out soon.

^^^ Isn't that the hidden track from Teenage Dream? You wouldn't even know it was there if you didn't burn it. It takes over a minute to even get to it from the last song on the album.

Oh is it? That's pretty awesome. I got Teenage Dream on iTunes and it was one of the bonus tracks for the deluxe version along with 2 other remixes.
