oh yeah, I do as well. It's one of my top10 faves from their entire catalog. I just started the list with BTD since it was already mentioned. ;)

It's so cool listening to the Travis era of JP drumming. Nothing against all of the other drummers that came before him, but Travis is ****ing incredible both in speed and style compared to everyone else that has sat behind the skins in JP.

Diamonds and Rust... it was intended to be a ballad, but they made it rather heavy rocking version of it. Personally I prefer the one from Rocka Rolla version (or at least the one included as a bonus track for that album).

I know some people are down on Angel of Retribution, but I think it's a strong album. If you like that style of sound, the Halford solo albums are pretty good in a similar vein, especially Resurrection.

Angel of Retribution was a pretty solid release and remains one of my favourites actually. Loch Ness was too long though in my opinion.

The live version from Unleashed is very cool as well.

Even if they did an album with half of it of ballads I would still be open to giving it a chance.

I don't think Priest would ever do that to you Riff...but I've always liked their ballads, they don't do many after all and they offer a nice contrast when your listening to an album full of head banging rockers.:hb:

Agreed I have always enjoyed their melodic material too. It is nice to hear a band mellow it down a bit among all their breakneck speed songs.

If it's regarded as a ballad, Blood Red Skies is a scorcher of a tune, and one of my all time faves
