Big Rob fan.He has lost a step vocally,Hardly surprising considering he is a few years shy of collecting his pension. He can still hit it out of the park when he wants to.

Bring on the new album

He still has plenty of power, but he's very judicious in when he goes for the high notes. Also, I still like watching the live concerts from the past couple of years, but of course there's no way to match the energy of the early days. If I had a time machine the first thing I would do would be to crash the Live Vengeance show where they filmed the 82 concert. What I wouldn't give to be there.

I hope they include the odd ballad.

Not a massive fan of ballads myself but Priest tend not to get over corny or wet with theirs like some bands/artists do.

Even if they did an album with half of it of ballads I would still be open to giving it a chance.

Don't forget they akready did a ballad. :heheh:

Nolo, they've done a few ballads over the years, dating back to a couple that they did back in the 70's.

Before the Dawn
Beyond the Realms of Death
When Night Comes Down
Diamonds and Rust
Angel
Fever
Dreamer Deceiver

... to name a few

I personally rate Beyond the Realms the best for me. All are pretty good though.
