An excellent album... that I didn't understand until 10 years after it's release... I adore the way she sings about lost love and life
(one of her lines I like-"Will you accept me as I am, strung out on another man.. California...)

@dr wu I’m with your wife, Court and Spark is my fav with For the Roses @ #2. I also have Blue & Hejira, but I’m not as fond of those.

I think Court is more accessible and more like pop rock than Blue or Roses... which are more singer songwriter folk rock.
