P Bass And Jazz Bass Project..

Well.. Is there anybody on here that has a hobby to rebuild guitars.. I grabbed two of Ebay and so far, have a Crate P Bass and a DYI Jazz Bass that is unbranded.. BUT.. I have some idea's with changing

out a few things to enhance the sound..

New Pick Up's .. Pods and strings with a new paint job.. Enjoying all the refinishing the mistakes made with paint.. I would not do this with anything other than a bottom dollar Bass that

I plan on setting up with all my knowledge in making these Basses sound awesome..

A finished Cort P Bass that I bought for bottom dollar..

A Crate P Bass.. That is going through a transformation of all new electronics and paint.. Going with white on this one..

And A J Bass kit that was in bad shape.. Two layers of sanding paint and urethane to boot..

New Pick Ups and pots and it will be a light blue when done..

It really isn't all that hard to redo and guitar if it is a plain jane..

Well Today is a good day.. Finished a couple low dollar Basses.. They sound awesome.. I was inspired by trying to buy a Yamaha Billy Sheehan Bass on Ebay and

I started the bid and the dam thing went over the top at over 3 K so I just made my own. I wanted to go with a lighter blue but couldn't buy that color anywhere.

My Crate P Bass was just for fun.. It was black to start with.. I sanded and painted for days..

TONIGHT.. I'm going to see what they can do..
