KEXP has a lot of great performances regualrly but this one really stands out to me. It's fantastic. I wish the crowd was a bit hotter for it but John Dwyer was really on point in it.
Thee Oh Sees are modern Garage Rock / Psychedelic Rock / Kraut Rock inspired band that have been going since a bit before 2008. J.D. also had other projects in the early to mid 2000's such as the Coachwhips if you enjoy less Psychedelia and more hard hitting Garage Rock / Garage Punk. Those albums still slam. I think John is one of the best musicans going today. He's very diverse for the genre and scene he exists in. Garage Rock can be a limiting genre but he takes it cool places and flirts with Classic Rock a whole lot at least in the weirder corners of it.
