Probably Dire Straits.
I loved the eponymous first album and "Communique" probably in equal measure - but then I found myself liking each subsequent album less and less, to the point where I'm completely indifferent about most of "Brothers In Arms" and dislike "On Every Street" intensely.
I just didn't like the progression of the band. Yes they became more slick but they progressively lost their heart. One of my favourite gigs was the original line-up at Lewisham Odeon in December 1979, they never captured that magic again for me.
