My favorite album, Master of the Rings

This album was released after the band got back together after a hiatus. They had a new front man, Andi Deris, and a new drummer, Uli Kusch, formerly of Gamma Ray. Adding Andi Deris as vocalist returned Helloween to a more classic sound.

Does anyone else know this group?

Re: Helloween

I wonder where I've seen that album before Magic?

I have all of Helloweens albums, I got into them over a year ago but they have been playing hard rock/heavy-power metal for a long time now.

Re: Helloween

If I were to recommend a good starting point for Helloween it would be this album, "Rabbit Don't Come Easy". Don't be fooled by the album cover, it is a little cheesy perhaps, but the album is really good, and I don't really consider Helloween a Metal band, they are just as much hard rock in my opinion as any genre of metal.

Re: Helloween

A lot of people may be shy to give them a try, I know I was at first. Honestly they are melodic metal, and worth giving them a listen.
