My earliest remembrance of a bootlegged show was on an episode of "What's Happening" in the 70's. Rerun was given front row tickets for he & his friends to see the Doobie Brothers.The catch was that he had to record the concert. So the Doobie Brothers were playing & Rerun started dancing & his coat opened revealing a huge recorder. They stopped the show but could not arrest Rerun because all that was on the tape was him munching on Popcorn

^^Bucky I remember that episode of What's Happening too...lol.

If I recall the song they played was "Echoes of Love".

Shadow, I bow to your knowledge and rapacious appetite for live bootleg performances, I do enjoy a quality live recording, especially DVD's, but usually I prefer the studio versions of most of my favorite artists.
