Granicus toured with Bob Seger and Cactus to promote their debut album but their manager abandoned them, then RCA wasn’t giving them much promotion, so they broke up.

Their sound is influenced heavily by Deep Purple, Cream, Blue Cheer, and Led Zeppelin. The vocalist has that high pitch style very similar to Geddy Lee.

Heard of them but never bought the lp....they remind me of another twin guitar band called Wishbone Ash...especially the first 2 Wishbone lps.
