Thanks, man... yeah that makes sense.. It was interesting that Headley Grange was freezing cold inside, Jagger is a notorious tight swine, and probably knocked off the boiler!
Ronnie Láine's mobile was cheaper than the Stones BMC truck. One distinct memory I have of Physical is that Plant explained the delay in release as, "we are having trouble with our windows"... this alone had a teen rocker like me curious from the get- go... and skipped School the morning it hit the shops, taped it onto a TDK 120 and took in a Bush recorder the next day... happy days indeed -
