Gong / Planet Gong

[Bryter Later]

I was'nt quite sure where to post this, but I was wondering if any one could recommend some good Gong albums to purchase. I have'nt heard much of their material and want to give them a listen. I know alot of people always say that Radio Gnome is a good album.

Any advice/recommendations CRF friends ?.

Thanks in advance

^^^What he said! I like the jazz/fusion Gong just as much as the prog/psych Daevid Allen outfit... Shamal being a favorite. Espresso II is good as well.

^^^I actually prefer the jazz fusion Gong. Aktivator is the leading authority on the band and it's offshots from what I've read here.

^^AK is our resident Gong expert, I like both early and later Gong about the same.

Thanks everyone for the recommendations and advice, I appreciate it.

I will PM AK and get his opinions aswell. I think I will prefer the pysch/prog phase of their career,as it's one of my fave genres of music.

Bryter.
