I bought a brand new vinyl edition last year and can HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who still plays records. The sound quality is superb, the packaging has all the original fiddly bits, one of the best albums I've picked up the last 2 years.

Today i found out on Spotify the Captain Fantastic tour at Wembley. To hear Elton sing with such power and rawness live then...was blown away. If you are familiar with the melodies of Captain Fantastic album, check out the live show. Its really a treat.

I still can't believe I saw him live. It will be one year in October. I remember the build up too it. It was gift/privileged to see him. Everyone in my family listens to him, I'm the 3rd generation. Everyone saw him and my mom joked about I was going to be Dorthy from the Golden Girls cause she said she was going to die with out seeing Frank Sinatra. However, I saw him! Man I did not want to leave that arena. Every song blew me away. What a show. He had video clips behind him when he played and I saw some familiar faces; Bruce Lee, Joan Collins, even Spongebob.

I have saw interviews and he evens listens to the same people I listen to Fleetwood Mac (Sang 2 possible 3 of their songs), 2Cellos, Jimi Hendrix.

I have every album. My favorite is his debut (very underrated).
