Will definitely purchase the new album. I grew to like A Dramatic Turn Of Events but we didn't get to know of Mangini's songwriting ability because apparently the drum parts had been written prior. This album will showcase it.

I believe that is why it is going to be a "S/T" album, to honor & showcase the new guy

I like that idea too. Hope they sneak in a drum solo on the album.

I'll definitely give it a listen but I hope it's a better venture than "A Dramatic Turn of Events". I was pretty unimpressed with that album as a whole. There were select songs I really liked but that's now how I really want to enjoy a Dream Theater.

I love the Led Zeppelin medley they did on A Change of Seasons EP.

New track called The Enemy Inside. Sounds great.

Been listening to a lot of Dream Theater lately and I don't understand the bad rap that Systematic Chaos has on it. I think that album is vastly superior to the rushed effort that is Train of Thought. I honestly think Train of Thought is the weakest album DT have ever put out.

^^I've never understood 'the stick' DT gets from all sides, by that I mean old folks from my generation and younger people who consider them overindulgent.

The New album should be out next week, been ages since I listened to any DT records...have to dig out a couple and play them to get in the mood for the new one.

I hear the new album is good. There's an interview with JP in this month's Guitar World about it being representative of where the band is now musically.
