Just saw VH1 classic's "Behind the Music" about "Weird" Al Yankovic and one part focuses on his "Dare To Be Stupid" album the title track of which was purely inspired by Devo's brash new wave soundApparently, even Mark Mothersbaugh is a fan.Are any of you DEVOtees familiar with this piece and do you agree Yankovic did a good job in replicating the band's signature tones?

been obsessed with Devo lately. Love these guys, even though I've always been more of a classic rock/classic metal/heavy metal kinda guy. I don't know what it is about Devo but they are addictive. I prefer their older guitar oriented stuff over their mid 80's electronic oriented music, although I've never heard anything by them I didn't like. Crazy how this band can get under you're skin.
