Blues Traveler is a New Jersey based band originally consisting of singer/harmonica player John Popper, guitarist Chan Kinchla, bassist Bobby Sheehan, and drummer Brendan Hill. Blues Traveler has delivered some of the greatest harmonica jams since they first released their debut album in 1990. Unfortunately, bassist Bobby Sheehan died of a drug overdose in 1999 and was replaced by Tad Kinchla, younger brother of Chan. In 1999, the band also decided they needed a keyboardist and ran an advertisement in Keyboard Magazine, and ended up hiring Ben Wilson from the add.
