Forum has a Blind Guardian thread :woot: I made a good choice signing up here.

Got into BG earlier this year, picked up "Nightfall...", "Imaginations..." & "At The Edge Of Time" and love them all - even though "At..." is OTT and a tad introverted.

Friend of mine recommends thier Live album which I keep meaning to pick up as well.

Glad you are liking it here. Got plenty of great metal threads. If you want to find them here is the index for them.

As for BG albums, so good to see fans of Nightfall though. I love all their albums I heard so far but Nightfall and Imaginations are both fantastic albums.

Got my copy of Battalions of Fear in today. So far I love this album, it is different to their usual power metal sound but everyone has to start somewhere.
Guardian of the Blind I love.

Has Hansi retired BG...:hm:

I wonder if him and Shaffer will do another Demons & Wizards project, or if Jon's search for a new singer for IE has pushed everything else back for a while.

Just seems like ages since BG offered anything new.

Now have their discography, was just missing Follow The Blind.
Still at this stage Nightfall is my favourite album but the one with Bard's Song on it is pretty damn epic as well.
Really like Hall of the King from Follow the Blind.

I have (& really like) all their stuff upto A Night At The Opera...

I guess I've kinda lost touch/interest since....can't really say why.

I agree with both of you that early BG is the band at it's finest, but I still like their last few albums. I think Hansi has lost a bit when it comes to his own band, but his collaboration with Shaffer from IE is really good.

I wonder if a new Demons & Wizards album is forthcoming?
