The album with Ian Gillan... he did pretty well, but you might not like the production. Very, very heavy album, if not even the heaviest at the time. Not recommended for someone, who is starting the journey through Sabbath albums, but I really love it and is my all time favourite (just behind Heep's Look At Yourself).

Ill give it a listen anyway, production does sometimes affect how I like an album but then sometimes an albums production flaw can really be its own character.

A couple of Sabbath albums/cds that i really like from the 1980s & 90s are-

THE ETERNAL IDOL & FORBIDDEN both not considered classic Sabbath but i like them both you guy's

Funny you say that. When I first bought Master of Reality that was my least favorite track. I thought the song was trippy, lol. The more I listened to the album (it's my favorite album btw, as you can tell by my avatar) Solitude grew on me a lot. Eventually it became my favorite song off the album, just brilliant.

I get a kick out of people who think Bill Ward sings it.

I get a kick out of people who think Bill Ward sings it.

My least favourite is After Forever lol that was rather repetitive to me.

And I'm listening to Born Again, it has a weird production sound but I kinda dig it.
