Primal Fear, although it doesn't seem like many people know or care about them outside of Europe, South America, and Japan, they released an excellent heavy metal album this year.

Well, I honestly can't name a single artist formed after 2000 that I like. Nothing is as good as the old stuff.
All my music is older than me.

You need to look harder! There's a treasure trove of music out there just waiting to be listened to, but it often gets ignored because of all the sheeple's Lady Gaga obsessions.
