As I said Killer by Alice Cooper gets my vote but I also have to mention 2 other albums that I feel are overlooked & I think they are 2 really great albums:
The Faces 'A Nod is as Good as a Wink to a Blind Horse' (I mean it...check this album out sometime!)
Badfinger 'Straight Up' ( may prefer 1970's NO Dice a little better but this is a great one too)

Yet another stellar year as far as releases go. I'll go with the band that decided not to put their name or the title on their record. Now, it doesn't mean I don't appreciate the noteworthy releases that year because I really do. Sticky Fingers, L.A. Woman, Who's Next plus all the ones Wolf listed.
