Well Folks!

Meet Aviator Shades, , A Vancouver based Irish/Canadian melodic hard rock band, that combines the multi layered vocal harmonies of the Eagles with the twin guitar attack of Thin Lizzy to create their own take on a familiar and melodic rock vibe.

The band recently finished the recording of their "This Is What We Do" EP (due for release later this year) with legendary Producer/Engineer Mike Fraser (AC/DC, Aerosmith, Coverdale/Page) and Danny Craig (Default, One Bad Son) sharing productions duties and "Burn It Down" is the first single from the record and recently cracked the Canadian Active rock TOP 40 with no label or radio tracking support as the band is completely independent.

The band has also shared the stage and received high praise of slots alongside with classic rock staples HALESTORM ,APRIL WINE, MONSTER TRUCK, JUDAS PRIEST, WHITESNAKE, DANKO JONES, ECONOLINE CRUSH , THE ODDS, & THE LAZYS.

Seriously meaty tones right there. Vocalist sounds a bit like a light version of JB Christoffersson.
Really digging the guitar harmonies that take the overall sound beyond the "standard" rock formula.
