Tough one. I might like Love or Confusion better than anything on Zep's debut but I still have to go with Jed Zeppilton. That guy could really play.

I voted Jimi almost 3 years ago and I still listen to Jimi far more than I do Zepp.

I feel that in reasonable comparison,I go with Jimi here because his debut never runs out of steam.Enthralling psychedelia throughout where I feel Led Zep's bluesy debut gets a bit draggy in places.I'd say Hendrix,along with bassist Noel Redding and drummer Mitch Mitchell gave a stronger first impression.In terms of whole careers,however,I think I'd call it a draw..........

They are both absolutely necessary in any classic rock collection. I had a very hard time selecting which one I think is better. I finally went with Led Zeppelin, because I have so many good memories of that record.
