Hard to believe they formed in 69 but only came to have brief success in the u.k around 79 -86 where i was fortunate to see them play the first monsters of rock festival at donington. They put on a good show and iwas reasonably impressed with the "harder..faster" album,....but ive let the side down by not adding to my collection. i was also fond of APRIL WINEs cover of "21st century schizoid man"..

That reminds me made a major score a couple of weeks ago and picked up 6 April Wine CD's.

Saw them with Bucky back in 80 with Nazareth. One of my favorite concerts ever. Jerry Mercer's drum solo was incredible, and I hate drum solos. First Glance is my favorite album. Don't really have a favorite song...too many to choose from.

Love April Wine, and it's nice that they do have some fans down south as well as being legends up here.

I only wrote it last night Thumper, it still has the New Car Smell even...

Nice to see some love for AW, Say Hello is great and so is another song off Magic's fave.
