I can listen to almost any Alice In Chains song and it will sound delicious to me. Big, big fan. Music Bank will always be my fave cause it contains some hidden gems not many have heard!
Good. I'd go with "very good" if that option existed. I can't call it great. Dirt was superb. Debut was also great. This one had some gems on it and a few tunes that didn't impress me as much
I'd rate it good... It's darker, more industrial and straight up cooler than any of their other albums but the songs just don't hold up. There are gems, but they could have taken such a killer sound and done far better with it. Fantastic playing throughout, but the songs just can't hold up to any of their other albums, even though I wouldn't necessarily rate Facelift or the EPs above Tripod.
Excellent album. Alice in Chains is one of the greatest bands to never make it HUGE. With the fantastic material they have written, they really should have been headlining in arenas.
Facelift, Sap, Dirt, Jar Of Flies, and even there must recent album are much better albums, but I think this is a good album. Probably could have been great if not for the issues that were surrounding the band at the time. Still Grind, Again, and Heaven Beside You are great songs. The rest are good, but not on the same level.
