Adam Hurst is a cellist and composer. He plays beautifully and his original compositions sound very poetic. Some also have a world music vibe.
Actually it was my mom who discovered and told me about him! She went to a concert of his at a local college near where she lives, was impressed (enough to "Like" his FB page!), and told me about him especially since I used to play cello and still enjoy cello music a lot.
This is much more mellow stuff than Apocalyptica and Sulic & Hauser
