Great MP, there should be 2 threads and Jim I remember that shirt now & it still looks awesome! Mine bit the dust a few years back (I just bought a black shirt w/ the Brick by Brick cover).

Here's a couple more things...Back when my wife & I were dating I bought a video tape of Iggy in Paris 1991 & I went to her house to watch it

I got to this sentence and said out loud; oh this will be good when when he drops his pants.

My wife says; what are talking about Iggy Pop again.

Bwhahahah

Buck;

If you dont have it, I'd suggest the Butt Town CD. It's early demos of primarily the brick by brick songs. I think i actually picked this one up at on eth elast shows you and I ever went to together.

it is a great disk, I hold hold on to it like its gold. really cool stuff

Here is a pic of the shirt... I was going to get it out and snap one myself but I just did a crazy search on the web and there is was. Seems it may be rare or something.

Legend T-shirt, remember that album coming out, the album is one of his best imo, only seen him with The Stooges which was fantastic. Would love that t:)

Lou Reed Tribute Shirt Intentionally Features Wrong Rock Star

IggyReed.jpg

A T-shirt for sale online that pays tribute to the recently departed Lou Reed is grabbing a whole lotta attention for the wrong reasons. It’s not the legendary Velvet Underground frontman’s photo that’s sandwiched between the words “Lou Reed” and “1942-2013.”

Sharp-eyed music fans — ah, who are we kidding? Anyone who knows anything about music — will recognize Iggy Pop on the shirt. At least it’s in the same godfather-of-punk realm.

But a closer inspection of the Detroit-based Wethouse‘s other Etsy items reveals a Michael Jackson tribute T-shirt featuring a photo of the very-much-still-alive Prince, and another one that’s described as an “Ugly Hanukkah Sweater.” Clearly, the designer is in on the joke.

So if you feel like sporting an ironic (and maybe too-soon) T-shirt, or maybe just one that will elicit sneers from folks who aren’t in on the joke, the handmade silver T will cost you $23.

.....A deliberate mistake ...but what kind of "Sick" nerd would want to wear this?
Imagine it....every 5 seconds someone would come up to you and say.....THATS not Lou Reed !! It would drive you insane :heheh:
