I didn't know who this band was until I just checked them out now. This is some really good straight up rock and roll. Can't believe I didn't hear of them before...

Piledriver is Status Quo's best album in my view. They were a great rock band (a bit ahead of their time), but lost their original rhythm section and became a self-parody. Even the excellent Jeff Rich, from Stretch, couldn't save them. I understand the original lineup is reforming, so I'm praying this is for new material.

Big Ears, love Status Quo, my favorite album would be Hello!

My one and only band would have to be AC/DC , with Bon Scott!!

Difficult, as I get a lot of cross genre ideas and I listen to 3 types of music pretty much equally....so rock it would be Mark Knopfler, classical it would be Mozart, and jazz it would be Miles Davis.

I presume you're not from the UK? Reasonable big here, big in Europe, popular in Australia too but not even a scratch in the US. A few early tours but only been over once in like 30 years and even then did a few House of Blues in Chicago and probably LA.

Can't really argue with this. Brilliantly condensed, though IMO there are some gems after Alan and John left.
