We can live together and our cats and dogs will fight to the death! Muwahahaha! :grinthumb

At that point, your "Cats vs Dogs" thread will become real life. And we will once and for all, settle that little predicament.

{darn just somehow removed everything I said, so I'm retyping it ... again >.<}

Cats would win then!!!
Swords have a lot more uses than an axe and the best sword for a cat would be a Gladius. Give the cat a shield and it is invincible.
Gladius - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A fully-equipped Roman legionary was armed with a shield (scutum), several javelins (pila), a sword (gladius), often a dagger (pugio), and perhaps darts (plumbatae). Conventionally, the javelins would be thrown to disable shields of enemies before engaging the enemy, at which point the gladius would be drawn. The soldier generally led with his shield and thrust with his sword. All types of gladius appear to have also been suitable for cutting and chopping motions as well as for thrusting.

Even without a shield, the cats natural speed and agility will allow it to dodge the slow axe swings that the dogs do then jump in and stab!

I'm just saying :grinthumb

Nothing like pointing out why the best species shall win then rubbing it in ;)
Not that I don't like dogs, on the contrary

I like cats... when they're being squished under my rear tire. :grinthumb
