Great reviews Lynch! I always wondered what would have happened had Kiss came out with 'Creatures...' & 'Lick it Up' instead of 'Unmasked' & 'the Elder'(Nothing against the Elder) & Alice Cooper wouldn't have taken the new/wave route during that same period (nothing against Coop's early 80's stuff because I love it but it would have been more predictable for Coop's character to have a more metal approach). Anyway, while these two giant theatrical acts had there pants down in strolled a hungry Ozzy Osbourne to take over the crowns of hard rock/heavy metal to a new generation of fans. They left the door wide open & in my opinion although Ozzy was around in Black Sabbath he seen what Coop & Kiss had & incorporated that into his new persona complete with similar bad publicity stunts that gained Coop notoriety 10-12 years earlier & a wild stage that looked like something Kiss had conjoured up. There's nothing wrong with Ozzy doing that as I almost think he influenced the then fallen giants to re-evaluate there career directions

Sonic Boom debuted at number 2 on the Billboard 200, selling 108,000 copies in its first week of release. The number 2 position was the highest mark ever reached by the group.

As of December 2009, Sonic Boom has sold over 250,000 copies in the U.S. alone. On January 9, 2010, it was announced that Sonic Boom has gone gold in Norway.​

EXCLUSIVE REPORT FROM THE KISS PRESS CONFERENCE
Kiss News has received reports from several people from the press conference in Frankfurt.
It was very strict, only 15 journalists were allowed to the press-conference. Kiss were unmasked, Eric had a beard.
Most important news came from Doc McGhee: Kissology IV is coming this year! And supposedly they will now travel to Erfurt by train.
In Erfurt there will be another press-conference.

It goes to show you that being clean and sober does have it's advantages when it comes to the energy you save on the wear and tear of your body..

Marcel Müller attended yesterday's KISS press confernce and reports that both Paul and Tommy confirmed that KISS will have a completely new set list for the European tour!
"From The Beginning To The Boom" will include songs from the KISS' entire career.

I just thought about something, and it kind of amazes me that I've never thought about it before:

Did/do/does Peter and Eric do their drumming in the platform pump shoes? If so, I gotta believe that would be incredibly hard.

I keep looking at pictures of the band with Eric Singer and I have to believe he can't be more than about 5'1" tall. even with Gene bending over and grabbing his ankles, he's still taller than Eric.
