No Duran Duran - Seven And The Ragged Tiger? They exploded with that album, and also burned out for a while afterwards.

I pretty much agree with your picks though. I owned a great majority of those albums.

Oh man I totally forgot about Seven And The Ragged Tiger. I added it to my recent list. And I'm glad we both owned most of these albums back in the day. Tell me if you owned a lost of my new list..

Back in my cassette days, I probably owned 75% of those. Then fewer on CD, but I was going more classic rock with CD's than I had with cassettes. I loved it all though, be it on the radio or MTV.

On the subject of MTV. Sirius channel 8 (1980's) has at least three of the original VJ's as DJ's, but Nina Blackwood sounds absolutely awful, like she's got an oxygen tank with her at all times. She must've smoked like a stack.

I moved everything I had over to CD. I have basically all those albums I listed. MTV was a pretty cool invention. I listen to SiriusXM 80's on 8 too. And I realized the same thing. She was not the original VJ I remember on MTV lol. She definitely hit the cigarettes wayyy too much in the past 30 years.

One of my favourite 80s albums is the soft metal sound of one of the 1980s big hair bands Bon Jovi and Slippery When Wet although the follow up album New Jersey is suppose to pretty good as well but I've never really got around to checking it out properly.

As for 80s artist's in general it's got to be Madonna for me.

Possibly one of Tony Iommi's most satisfying 1980s Black Sabbath albums to listen to all the way through from the first track through to the last track on the album.
