^^I saw them tour with their full set up myself, the year Fire of Unknown Origin was released. Great band and will always have a special place in my heart.

Nice that the Bouchard's are keeping busy recording new music, but I'm not interested in their side project...it's just a damned shame they can't sort things out and rejoin BOC with Allen Lanier as well.(That's if they are all healthy and still with us.)

I seen that tour as well. I do enjoy the Blue Coupe project especially because of Dennis Dunnaway from Alice Cooper but I agree with you that they should iron out there differences. I get a bit pissed when you see members leave bands & then when they form something new but continue playing the songs that their previous band made famous. I don't know what happened with BOC & the Bouchards but I know they play some BOC & Cooper tunes live which I guess is to be expected especially if they wrote them but if they enjoy those tunes then why not stay with the band. Seeing Ace Frehley live is fun and I enjoy seeing him but he basically plays all Kiss tunes! The guy has I believe 5 albums of original material yet chooses to play only 3 or 4 songs from those albums and 12-14 Kiss tunes! It's like seeing a good Kiss tribute band. As I said I love seeing Ace live but why did you ruin it with Kiss when you still play their tunes

Blue Coupe is not a good name but I would be interested in hearing the Tornado on the Tracks album. The idea of members of Alice Cooper and BOC in the same band appeals to me.

I think I actually prefer their new album Million Miles More but both albums are decent. They seem to be having fun together and seem to play out a lot. I'm a huge Alice Cooper fan & a big fan of BOC so I enjoy the 2 albums but to each their own. I'm just glad to see Dennis Dunnaway releasing stuff. His Dennis! Dunaway Project from a couple of years ago was pretty dark & heavy

I didn't know the second Blue Coupe album had been released. I've been told the Joe Bouchard album Tales from the Island is good, but I haven't heard that either.

Buck and Richie Guest Appearances

Hi all,

In case you all are interested, my band, The Lizardz, just released our new album "Eyeblinder" in the last two weeks. This album features contributions by Buck Dharma and Richie Castellano. Buck plays guitars on two songs - he also mixed and co-produced the songs he played on. Richie plays on one song.

We had the album mastered at Abbey Road this past Spring...CDs are out now on CDbaby.com and we are also pressing vinyl. The vinyl is due late August.

Feel free to go on blueoystercult.com under the News section for more information.

Thanks!!

Sad news according to BOC's Official page:

ALLEN GLOVER LANIER 1946-2013

We have extremely sad news to report.

We’ve lost our friend and bandmate Allen Lanier.

Allen succumbed to complications from C.O.P.D.

He is survived by his wife Dory, sister Mary Anne and mother Martha.

Although he retired from touring in 2006 Allen returned to the stage for what turned out to be his final appearance, reuniting with BӦC at the 40th Anniversary show in New York this past November.

DFTR sweet man. We love you and miss you.

Wow Bucky and I were just talking a couple days ago about the original BOC line-up, and I wondered if they were all still alive and well.

COPD is a terrible terminal condition, my Dad struggled the last two years of his life just trying to breath and get a good nights sleep. He always feared he would die in his sleep of suffocation...anyone who still smokes well you should visit a COPD patient and see what's in store for you down the road.

Going to play some BOC either today or this weekend to celebrate Allen's life and music from one of my favorite bands of all time.
