One of my favourite BOC tracks. It has a great lyric, vocals and band performance. Oh, and the production of the whole album (Agents of Fortune) is spot on.

Cosmic is a little too far away to help me in my search Squidbilly...:heheh:

I'll find them eventually, now that I've got Secret Treaties that was my main mission so I'm happy.

Martin "Agents of Fortune" was my first BOC album, I wore my old record out back in the day. I know "Don't Fear the Reaper" is the song most people recognize off the album but I've always been partial to "Tenderloin" and "E.T.I." myself. The whole album is good.

Agents of Fortune was my first BOC album because I liked The Reaper single and I knew someonoe who worked at the CBS factory and he got it cheap for me. It does not have a bad track and I think it is their best album. I've still got my vinyl copy.

On Your Feet or On Your Knees is pretty good too, but I don't think they made a bad album.

^^I picked up a near perfect vinyl copy of their debut a couple months ago, and it does sound great.

They were really good for a long time, but there are a couple albums after the line-up changes that I don't rate as highly as their classic period.

Everything up to/including "Fire of Unknown Origin" is essential for BOC fans.

Wow a bit disappointed seeing Blue Oyster Cult tonight in Lewiston, NY. First off...tough call but they opened for .38 Special. I wasn't too upset with it but I would argue to say that "Reaper" or "Burnin' for you" are more popular than the hits of .38 Special. Anyway, the sound for BOC was not that good in fact it was not loud & it was muddy. I was also disappointed in a 7 song playlist..without "Cities on Flame". I was happy to see them perform ME262(I seen them 5 times & never seen them play it live) and The Last Days of May which is always incredible live. I was a bit worried when I went to the souvenir stand prior to the show and it was loaded with at least 6 different .38 Special shirts plus other merchandise & only one BOC shirt & it looked like there were no more than of them sitting on the shelf. No matter what I did enjoy myself

7 songs...that's not enough for a band of BOC's quality.:nw: I'll take them 10/10 times over .38 Special who I don't think are even in my top 5 southern rock bands.

But time waits for no one, and with all the personnel changes in BOC over the years I suppose you have to be satisfied they tour at all. As far as I know only Buck Dharma and Eric Bloom are left from the original line-up.

I agree LG...I'll take BOC over .38 Special any day but I figured at the outdoor venue's location & being mid-summer Southern Rockers would go over bigger(in the next few weeks Skynyrd & ZZ Top will be there) plus there are also usually an equal number of women at these shows & with tunes like Hold on Loosely & Caught up in You I guess I could possibly see why they gave them the headline. BOC did go over okay with the crowd which mae me realize that there 2 big hits along with Godzillla were much bigger than 38 Special's hits as I said earlier

Another thing that may have hurt BOC was starting at 6:45 PM & having to be done by 7:30 because on these Tuesday night concerts the headliner goes on at 8 PM so the crowd was still filing in as they were playing. BOC headlined that venue 2 times in the past 3 years & did go over good with the crowd but this time it just seemed like they were there to get onstage & get off. I really wish they could work again with the Bouchard brothers because I really think that makes a difference although the last 2 times even though not an original member Rudy Sarzo was on bass & he was all over the stage which really seemed to energize the crowd & the band. I was telling my wife how I couldn't believe this was the same band that blew Black Sabbath totally off the stage in 1980 & how they had a giant Godzilla,Lasers,Pyro,...etc. To go along with there great musical catalog.

Finally...speaking of original BOC band members the new Blue Coupe album 'Million Miles More' is a pretty decent album. Blue Coupe is Albert & Joe Bouchard with Dennis Dun away from Alice Cooper's original band. Alice even sings on one of the tracks
