Agreed - I think they are far too pretty to be called a weed
And here's a picture of some morning glories that are growing on my back porch. Some people consider them weeds, but I think that they're too beautiful to kill. Besides, winter's going to claim their lives anyways

I can’t believe New Orleans is about to get hit again, though the forces of nature have no regard or respect for territory, but that city has already suffered more than enough, I have no idea how people even live in a city that faces this threat almost every year, or how they even get on with their lives at all, I’d have left years ago, though I appreciate that is easier said than done in many cases, but if this hurricane turns out to be as big as Katrina, then God help them all.

New Orleans is in the wrong place, the French knew that when they built the city centuries ago.
According to what I read this storm will not be nearly as bad as Katrina which is a good thing. The US has spent billions rebuilding the dikes, but the problem is the geography, the ground itself is not stable so no matter what you put on it, it can fail.
We'll see what happens tomorrow when Isaac makes landfall.
