^^I've got more Tull albums than any other band with Rush just behind them...I've mentioned it before in the JT thread that I rate them ahead of the Beatles, Stones, Zeppelin which puts me in the vast minority in any music forum.

^^Gamma Ray will always be my fave Power Metal band, but I've enjoyed Tull since I was 15 years old.

AC/DC I have enjoyed since I was a little kid obsessing over the buttons on stereos. Have siblings who can confirm how I wore the hell out of an old video cassette. lol
Basically they are the favourite band I would always throw up in discussions if asked for one band.

As you can tell from my avatar, it's The Alan Parsons Project. Not only does the music encompass everything from rock to pop to prog, and other genres, it often scales to amazing depths that you can appreciate as you grow older. Even though I just recently got into their entire catalogue, I don't think this could've been my favorite band when I was younger.

And yes I know it's not really a band, but for purposes of this discussion, we'll call it one.
