Hey I had an open mind enough to give it a go. Even though I disliked it, I still like to think I was open minded enough to give it a chance lol
Had several people on youtube call me narrow minded, ridiculous when I like several albums of bands who get a lot of roasting.

I'm not going to base any of my opinions about Metallica until I hear an actual new strict Metallica release. The Lou Read and Metallica collab wasn't an official Metallica release, so I don't want to make them seem less of a band because of it. They were experimenting with sound if anything.

All I need to say on "Lulu" is that it was not the worst release of either Lou Reed or Metallica's careers. Those would be "Metal Machine Music" and "St. Anger". ;)

Lulu in terms of album quality rather then who did it, is St Anger part 3.
I agree with Prime though, if Metallica are to be judged it should be on an album of theirs, not on the pile of musical garbage that was with Lou Reed. And I like Lou Reed, he has done some great stuff, I even have become a fan of his work with Velvet Underground but Lulu was his own St Anger, it is the only album he should really be shit on.

Agreed lol

Honestly Metallica should collaberate with Dave Mustaine and Ellefson like was rumoured, no way would that be anywhere near as bad, it could be something metal fans need to see.
Stop the constant fanboy battle.

Mustaine + Metallica would be a pretty incredible collaboration. It'd probably be a thrash collab of epic proportions. I'd like to hear Mustaine vocals over Hetfield vocals in all honesty.

I am over the whole Lulu thing, and any of the shit songs/albums. Time to enjoy the good stuff.
Two songs on Lightning grabbed my attention lately.
Trapped Under Ice

Escape

Two under rated songs on Ride the Lightning, and really shows why this album is in my top 4 albums of music ever. It is more raw then Puppets which is what I love more about this album.
