I hate it when seasoned artists think they have the right to speak negatively about the newer generations and their music preferences. But I guess it's a cycle. He just needs to find a way to keep himself in the spotlight. I think he's just a dried up old fart who needs to zip his lip.

Robert Plant is another one that bugs me by doing this. And does anyone remember the Lemmy thread?

Mainly Gene...yes..not an easy dude to defend. At times he can be a real smart guy with good advice, but like many others, there's times he doesn't know when to zip it.
