humm...I am an Allan Holdsworth fan....a guitar great for sure. I have to be honest I haven't heard One of a Kind, so I wont cast a vote.....

Can't vote ..only heard the Holdsworth album once or twice at a guitar player I knows house .Never heard Bufords album. Your knowledge of prog is far more extensive then mine.

^^^I wouldn't say that Wolf. Your knowledge of metal compared to mine far exceeds my knowledge of prog to yours.

Gotta go with Bruford. Considered to be Holdsworth's best solo album he has done a lot better work on other projects IMO like Bundles from Soft Machine and Gazeuse! when he was with Gong and other projects.

I don't know squat about either of these albums. As for overall careers, I'd probably take Holdsworth, but that isn't the topic.
