Re: Bad Company

I think I have all of their albums now...I'll have to check but I have added quite a few over the last months.

Re: Bad Company

Ok, I've been meaning to bring up this song somewhere, somehow but haven't found the place to do it. Perhaps this isn't the right thread either, but I'm simply looking for opinions on this remake.

Five Finger Death Punch did a remake of the song Bad Company

Now, I'm not expecting ANYONE to say they like this song better than the original, especially in a Bad Company thread, but I'm curious to know what people's thoughts are on it.

Personally, I really like it. It's different enough to show FFDP's current genre in rock, but still didn't stray way ~so~ far from the song that it's completely different either.

Re: Bad Company

I'm one of those "party poopers" who liked the Brian Howe and Robert Hart-era's better than the original band.

But you can never really go wrong with a band who named not only an album after themselves but a song. Now that is a pretty impressive feat!

Lynch you know I am going to say I like the original better...........but FFDP did do a nice job covering the song. I like FFDP's added flair at about 2:20 in the song. I will have to listen to it again to get a better feel for the music behind the deep and loud vocals.

I liked both singers but not as much as Rodgers

I really liked Company Of Strangers

Re: Bad Company

Went to Grooveshark added a Cream song... hit the Radio button (what a great feature on that site) and Bad Company was added to the rotation. Passing Time off of Burning Sky. I haven't thought about these guys in awhile. I guess one good measurement of whether a band was one of your favorites or not is if you still can sing along after not hearing it in years/decades.

I'm partial to the Paul Rogers era myself. I thought he was one of the better vocalist in the 70's.

Some footage from this 2010 tour, Roger's voice is awesome! Check out Mick Ralphs...he still has it. It is really cool to see these guys rockin' at their age

Not to sound like I have my light loafers on... Rogers looks damn good for 60... unlike so many others that were rocking back in the 60's & 70's He looks more like a dad than a grandpa up there... sounds great too.
