Which living legends' deaths will you be most sad/depressed about?

I'll miss 'em when they are gone but I've no regrets. I've seen them both live, several times. McCartney & Starr that is.

Unfortunately, most of our musical heroes are touching their late 60's, early 70's around about now. The next decade will bring a few tears. Hec, when I saw the Stones on their No Security tour, Charlie Watts, bless him, had put on a sweater towards the end of the show.:heheh:

A lot of big names have been brought up but hello, Alice Cooper. The day the Coop goes will be a most sad day indeed, especially for me.

Right behind you!
Probably the remaining Zeppelin members (Page, Plant, and Jones) as well as the guys from Eagles (Henley, Felder, Walsh, and Frey)

Most of true rock legends died already (Lennon, Morrison, Joplin, Hendrix, Garcia, Moon...) but I'll be more than sad to hear about remaining Floyd's, Zeppelin's, Beatles', Dead's, Doors' and Who's members death.

Well.

I tend to not be incredibly moved by death (maybe there's just something wrong with me) but there are some people whose deaths will bother me, (like for some reason I was really bothered when Farrah Fawcett died, but that's O/T) and then there's a bunch of people (like just recently, Doug Fieger) that when they pass, well, it's just going to tear my soul up a little.

My small list of musical heroes/influences from various years of my life (in which have influenced me in other ways than music as well) -

Ric Ocasek
Pat Benatar
Richard Carpenter
David Bowie
Billy Joel
Mick Jagger
Mary Weiss
Lesley Gore
Deborah Harry
Paul McCartney
Ron Mael/Russell Mael

And perhaps any given/surviving member of . . .

ABBA
The Monkees
The Turtles

sighh. I love musicians.
