love the clash. Sadinista is definitely my favorite. i love LC but i don't think its as amazing as everyone makes it out to be, but thats just my opinion

Nice that you like Sandinista TL, but London Calling to me is a masterpiece, it shows the complete range of the Clash better than any other record. Sandinista was great too, but not as many strong songs for my money.

London Calling is a great album and the sound of The Clash brings back good memories. I wish I had seen them in concert.

Yep, Its a band that stand out LG I really like "Rock The Casbah", Is that from Combat Rock?

Yeah it's the single they released from Combat Rock. I said it before but the Clash are the most impressive band from the punk/new wave era in my books.:bow:

I am a big Stranglers and Ramones fan LG but The Clash are up there at the top with them.

Don't know if it's true or not but it was said that photographer Pennie Smith didn't want to use the photo of Paul smashing his bass because it was too out of focus, but Joe Strummer said it would make a good album cover, in recent years it has been said to be one of the best rock photos of all time.
