Zeppelin II or IV

it a tough one. Maybe start to finish, I'd go with II. IV has some tremendous songs but a couple of 'em kinda slow the pace a bit.

Zeppelin II
I love some songs in IV though, but I've never been a fan of Zeppelin songs which has a fantasy theme, so I went for II. I even like I more than IV...!

I know, I know that Ramble On is influenced by LOTR too, by I like it more than The Battle of Evermore or Misty Mountain Hop!

For some reason I find IV to be a more complete record. II was good, but IV opened up the formula a bit more I think. Stronger closing song too. When the Levee Breaks is amazing!

II has a more harder, bluesier fell while the fourth has the band doing a more refined statement of Page's "light and shade" vision of the acoustic/electric elements of music.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Also, IV has always had more depth to me. II is just fun to listen to, though one of my top Zep tunes (Ramble On) is on that one.

I'd listen to IV over the Brown Bomber anyday. :grinthumb
