ooh prog rock litening to Yes CTTE...
Can someone tell me the name of a Yes song that starts w/ a string instrument section? Later on in the song there is some more. I'm assuming it's a symphony orchestra helping out. I've heard it a few times on the radio over the years (most recently on AccuRadio).
Has to be one of the top Progressive Rock Bands of all time with great guitar work from Steve Howe, Keyboards from Rick Wakeman, Drums by Bill Buford, and the great bass lines from the late Chris Squire. Yes also had a very distinct vocal sound with Jon Anderson that fit really well. My favorite song by them was.....
I surfed around and figured out my dilemma:
I love thier early stuff and I love thier 1983 album 90125 (Last good album)
I have these
1) Fragile - 1971
2) 90125 - 1983
It Could Happen was a great song from 90125.
The deluxe version of 90125 has the original Cinema version of that song, with Squire on vocals.
I wish there was a full release of whatever would have made up that album.
Love the band Yes, but also like the sometimes wierd and wonderful Jon Anderson stuff as well. Does anybody else like the album Olias of Sunhillow?
I wonder if my record has that version..... How can you tell?? (If you dont know thier voices I mean)
Is one longer than the other?
Me Me Me!!!!
