Van Halen but there haven't been many new albums that I have listened to this year

My favourite of the year so far is Torture by Cannibal Corpse with Kreator and Overkill just behind it.
As far as Rock goes the new Rush album is my favourite.

Probably Clockwork Angels by Rush...but I haven't really listened to much music for the last few months, not new albums anyway.

For me it's between new Dead Can Dance Anastasis and Evoken's Atra Mors

So far, I think the only new album that I've picked up this year has been the new Van Halen album, A Different Kind of Truth

Old Ideas by Leonard Cohen.

But, of course, the new Dylan album hasn't come out yet...so that might change.

Fiona Apple-The Idlers Wheel.... (Followed closely by The Smashing Pumpkins-Oceania)

It was hard to narrow it down and this year has been great for my listening pleasure. I won't be having any trouble having as huge of a list for 2012 to go over as I did for 2011.

As of right now I'd say probably "What We Saw From The Cheap Seats" by Regina Spektor followed by the Lumineer's self titled album.

I'm sure this will probably change by the end of the year though because there are some great things coming down the pipe in the second half of this year. The Darkness, Mumford & Sons, Ben Folds Five, and a whole lot more.
