If you like hard rock or specifically boogie woogie their early albums are extremely good. Other than that I agree. The eliminator stuff for instance never did it for me at all.

I agree with you Khor, the early albums are the best.

But I do like Eliminator, it was the last really good album they released, granted it was designed during the MTV craze but it was nice to see them have a massive commercial success and it opened the door to their early work for young fans who might not have known who they were.

Still it's not the first ZZ Top album I reach for when I'm in the mood.
